OPENING KEYNOTE:
The COVID-19 pandemic: A panacea for change

Network Director of Allied Health for the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network and Senior Research Fellow at The University of Sydney

Dr Paula Bray

Paula is an occupational therapist and clinician- researcher whose research interests include measuring and improving clinical care and rehabilitation management for children with nerve and muscle disease. Over the past 5 years, Paula has specifically focused on rapidly translating paediatric discoveries into practice for children with neuromuscular disease including the development of clinical practice guidelines. Paula divides her time between leading allied health across the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network and as a senior research fellow on the NIH funded ACT-CMT study, which aims to accelerate clinical trial readiness in the peripheral nerve disorder Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.
